Lower Half (106-145): Marlboro returns a strong group in the lower half of the lineup. Shane Mullan had a great sophomore season, recording 24 victories on his way to a 3rd place finish at the Districts. Four year starter, Peter Powell is a two-time Region qualifier and has had his share of big wins over his career. Look for a big senior campaign out of him at 145. Mike Doukas is coming off a nice freshman season that saw him win 15 bouts. Justin Sheinwald and Erik Delgado are also returning starters giving the Mustangs plenty of experience in the lower weights and middle.

Upper Half (152-Hwt): District runner-ups Dan Saraiva and Alex Shtindler, both seniors, are the anchors up top. Saraiva, a 3-time D21 finalist, was a 4th-place finisher in the Region in 2012. He'll be looking to capture that elusive District title this year, as well as be in the hunt for a trip to Atlantic City. Shtindler has been a solid presence for Marlboro at 220 & heavyweight since his freshman year. He will also be a legit contender for a possible trip to the State Tournament as well.

Outlook: With a pretty good balanced attack in the lower half, and Saraiva and Shtindler lurking up top, the Mustangs have pieces in place to comfortably improve on their win total from a year ago. How much success they have overall may depend on how the rest of the lineup fills out in the upperweight classes.  Individually, there are several wrestlers with the potential to have big postseasons. This is a lineup that has potential to make a lot of noise in the individual tourneys.
